CAL POLY WIND BANDS POPS CONCERT
March 8 (8pm)
On March 8 “Rhapsody in Blue,” will performed by piano virtuoso W. Terrence Spiller. It is part of a concert that is dedicated to popular music written and arranged for the modern wind band. The Wind Ensemble and Wind Orchestra will perform music from movies, musicals, folk music traditions, pop culture, and even recent video games. The Winter Pops Concert only happens once every few years, so be sure to put this concert on your calendar right away!
MORRO BAY EMBARCADERO ART WALK
March 8 (5-8pm)
Spend an enjoyable evening along the waterfront. Converse with many talented local artists about their fine art, jewelry, crafts, and more. Listen to local guitarist, Mike Swanberg. Enjoy refreshments provided by participating galleries and shops. March 8.

Shades of Green is the title for the new show opening at the Art Center Morro Bay on Thursday, February 21 and running through Monday, April 1. Featured artists Diane Henderson and Ray Atzet present acrylic and watercolor paintings around a theme. A reception for the artists that is open to the public will take place Sunday, February 24 from 2 to 4 PM. Art Center Morro Bay is at 835 Main Street in Morro Bay. For more information call 772-2504.
