CAL POLY WIND BANDS POPS CONCERT
March 8 (8pm) On March 8 “Rhapsody in Blue,” will performed by piano virtuoso W. Terrence Spiller. It is part of a concert that is dedicated to popular music written and arranged for the modern wind band. The Wind Ensemble and Wind Orchestra will perform music from movies, musicals, folk music traditions, pop culture, and even recent video games. The Winter Pops Concert only happens once every few years, so be sure to put this concert on your calendar right away!

Openings and Receptions March 8 (12 PM to 4 PM) Shades of Green is the title for the new show opening at the Art Center Morro Bay on Thursday, February 21 and running through Monday, April 1. Featured artists Diane Henderson and Ray Atzet present acrylic and watercolor paintings around a theme.
