March 31 (1:00 - 4:00 PM) Songwriters At Play presents Kristen Black. –She is a Cal Poly chemistry professor and folk-rock bandleader. After dropping out of the music circuit for a few years, she's back with a trio which includes local mandolin player, Mark Travis and bassist Greg Steers. Special guests on March 31 include Dorian Michael, Peter Yelda, and Nashville's Melody Guy.

Openings and Receptions March 31 (12 PM to 4 PM) Shades of Green is the title for the new show opening at the Art Center Morro Bay on Thursday, February 21 and running through Monday, April 1. Featured artists Diane Henderson and Ray Atzet present acrylic and watercolor paintings around a theme.
