CASA INFO SESSION
Speak up for a child. Learn about becoming an advocate for an abused child and other volunteer opportunities at CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates). The fourth Wednesday of every month.

Exceptionally talented musicians from the San Luis Obispo Youth Symphony will be performing chamber works on March 3.
Cost: $20 for general admission and $5 for students. Under 12 is free

On March 3 Pianist Tom Ranier will perform a solo recital at D'Anbino Wine Tasting Room in Paso Robles. And though he will be performing a solo recital, series co-producers Charlie and Sandi Shoemake (vibraphone and vocals) will join Ranier during the program for a few selections.
Cost: $15 for one show $20 for both

Poetry at the Steynberg is a monthly poetry reading series of featured and open readings held on the first Sunday of each month at the Steynberg Gallery. March 3 will feature Linnaea Phillips and Lisha Perini. There is an open reading to follow.
Openings and Receptions

Shades of Green is the title for the new show opening at the Art Center Morro Bay on Thursday, February 21 and running through Monday, April 1. Featured artists Diane Henderson and Ray Atzet present acrylic and watercolor paintings around a theme. A reception for the artists that is open to the public will take place Sunday, February 24 from 2 to 4 PM. Art Center Morro Bay is at 835 Main Street in Morro Bay. For more information call 772-2504.
