Shades of Green is the title for the new show opening at the Art Center Morro Bay on Thursday, February 21 and running through Monday, April 1. Featured artists Diane Henderson and Ray Atzet present acrylic and watercolor paintings around a theme. A reception for the artists that is open to the public will take place Sunday, February 24 from 2 to 4 PM. Art Center Morro Bay is at 835 Main Street in Morro Bay. For more information call 772-2504.

ART AGAINST ALZHEIMERS CHARITY ART SHOW/AUCTION!

Come by Sally Loo's on March 16 from 8-11pm as we raise money for the fight against Alzheimers. We have an eclectic group of artists who have donated their art for auction and 100 percent of the proceeds will go to Alzheimer's Association. Animators, storyboard artists, tattoo artists, painters, bonsai, comic book, sculptures, and graphic designers will have their art on display as the Tipsy Gypsies play their infectious brand of gypsy swing jazz.
