SLO GRANGE FARMERS MARKET
This farmers market is held every Tuesday in the Grange parking lot from

Auditions will be held on Feb. 6 at Unity. Actors, Singers, and Dancers: please be prepared to sing no more than 32 bars of a (fully memorized) Broadway-style musical selection that showcases your vocal range. An accompanist will be provided. No a cappella singing or instrumentals on CD. Please bring a current photo of yourself. Also, bring with you all of your conflicts from the date of your audition to opening.

ANOTHER TYPE OF GROOVE: SPOKEN WORD

The Cal Poly MultiCultural Center’s “Another Type of Groove: Spoken Word Poetry” celebrates Black History Month with poet Andrew Tyree on Feb. 8, in Chumash Auditorium at Cal Poly. Another Type of Groove is a spoken-word poetry event held the first Wednesday of each month throughout the school year. Each event includes a featured poet and an open mic opportunity for interested community members and students. The event is free and open to the public.

AN EVENING OF ENERGY MEDICINE AND ENERGY 101 WITH RAND AND LAURA GHOLSON ( ENERGIES RISING )

Join us for an interactive evening of demonstrating Energy Medicine and explaining basic concepts involved in maintaining your own energies balance. Working with volunteers from the audience, Rand will teach several techniques that will benefit those attending immediately. Energy 101 Workshop Saturday, February 16, 9 - 5 pm Costs 90 or prepay by 2/6/13 $75.00

JOURNEY OF HOPE 2013

Journey of Hope 2013, featuring Jay Asher, will be held on Feb. 6 at New Life Church in Pismo Beach. A community forum on living mentally well, this free event offers an opportunity to interact with mental health and community leaders, learn about local resources and, best of all, celebrate hope.
