PURIMPALOOZA
February 24 (11am-3pm)

The event will begin with a raucous, rousing, interactive play, called a Purim Spiel. Children are encouraged to wave noisemakers (groggers), shout when the evil Haman is mentioned, and cheer whenever the hero Mordechai comes to the stage. Costumes are encouraged for everyone. This is a carnival celebrating the annual Jewish holiday of Purim with games and entertainment. Carnival wristbands are $10 and food is also for sale.

ISRAELI FOLK DANCING

Israeli Folk Dancing CBD is happy to announce that Israeli Folk Dancing will take place Sunday evenings from 7-8:15pm. Dancing is great exercise for the body and the brain while the music and movement feeds the soul. We will start with simple dances, and everything will be taught, so no experience is necessary, nor do you need a partner. Just bring a bottle of water, your energy, and be ready for a good time.

The Clark Center presents All Hands on Deck! a new, two-act revue featuring the songs, dances, and laughs that America has loved since the '40s, on Feb. 24 at 3pm. All Hands on Deck! includes over 40 classic Big Band hits, all packaged in a fun-filled and true-to-life reproduction of a USO show. Songs include Chattanooga “Choo-Choo,” “I’m In The Mood For Love,” “Pennsylvania Polka,” “America The Beautiful,” “Deep in the Heart of Texas,” and a powerful Military Medley.

Shades of Green is the title for the new show opening at the Art Center Morro Bay on Thursday, February 21 and running through Monday, April 1. Featured artists Diane Henderson and Ray Atzet present acrylic and watercolor paintings around a theme.
