February 18 (7 pm) Khara Strum is a waterbird ecologist with PRBO Conservation Science and she coordinates the Pacific Flyway Shorebird Survey in California, Oregon and Washington. Come hear how this program works to conserve shorebirds in the Pacific Flyway through research, monitoring, and outreach. And find out how the Morro Bay shorebird survey contributes to this effort. All MCAS Community Programs are free and open to the public. Refreshments will be provided. As always, all ages are welcome.
