CHINESE NEW YEAR CELEBRATION
February 9 (3pm)

Come Feb. 9 to the parking lot in front of Volumes of Pleasure while we usher in the year of The Snake. Astrology is a part of all cultures. Just as most of us know our sign in Western Astrology, most people in Asian cultures know their animal sign. The Cal Poly Lion Dance Team will perform a blessing for our community and for Volumes of Pleasure, a ritual that dates back centuries. In times past the dance was used to scare away monsters and evil spirits.
