Panga Boat Bust 9/6

Weekly Poll
Can the Central Coast sustain nearly 20 breweries?

If we can float hundreds of wineries, why not?
I'm sticking with my Pabst, thank you very much.
I hope not. SLO County's already got a drinking problem.
That's just drunk talk. Sweet, sweet drunk talk.

New Times / Calendar Guidelines

New Times must receive submissions for calendar listings at least one week prior to the publication date before the scheduled event. Listings, including ongoing meetings, must include a calendar date.

Events to be listed must take place in San Luis Obispo County, with some exceptions at the calendar editor's discretion. Events will be listed in only one section (for example, either Concerts or Special Events, but not both).

The Web calendar will include all event listings that appear in print, in addition to ongoing events that may appear only in the Web calendar. The calendar listings include Special Events, Stage, Film and TV, Music, Writers and Literature, Art, Kids' Stuff, The Outdoors, Sports and Wellness, Farmers Markets, Lectures and Learning, Fundraisers, Support Groups, and Volunteers.

Events appearing in the print calendar must have a time element to them, such as a start date, end date, duration, or meeting date. Even listings for ongoing events (such as regular club meetings) must have a specific date attached to them (not just "every third Thursday").

New Times reserves the right to edit submissions for style and clarity, and to move events into appropriate sections as necessary.

Submissions that fail to meet these guidelines may not be accepted. Submission does not guarantee placement in either the New Times print version or on the website.
