SHOWDOWN AT SLICK ROCK RANCH, adapted by Neal LaVine from A Royal Slave by Clarence Bennett, shows through Sept. 20 at The Great American Melodrama in Oceano with A Witless Rogue on alternating nights. Something suspicious is going on at Slick Rock Ranch in this Western spin on a classic melodrama. Attempted robbery, a duel, family secrets, and a forced marriage all stand in the way of happiness for our hero and heroine. A WITLESS ROGUE by Steele MacKaye shows through Sept. 21.
