New Times / CalendarOutdoorsDURING THE SLO LIFE WITHOUT LIMITS WEEK CAL POLY ADAPTED PADDLING PROGRAM will launch the final product of the Solo Quad-Conversion Project. The Life Without Limits is a weeklong event designed to draw awareness to persons living with disabilities in our community. The project is a kayak powered by an electrical motor that is designed to be controlled by a person with quadriplegia using all “sip and puff” controls. A pre-launch social will be held on May 15 at 7:30pm. The launch will take place at Tidelands Park in Morro Bay at 9am on May 16.
