Moon power

By RYAH COOLEY

Everything feeling just a little off? Blame it on the moon. May 25 is a night of the new moon, or the night where the moon is completely aligned with the sun and invisible from earth. Learn all about it at a new moon Gathering and Workshop at Tamed Wild Apothecary in Arroyo Grande May 25 at 6 p.m.

Throughout the ages and in many cultures, the moon and its phases have represented constant change, attraction and release, as well as endings and beginnings. The workshop will include using crystals for chakra balancing, using crystals to harness the energy of the moon, and setting intentions for the upcoming month. The cost is $25 and includes all materials and supplies, a crystal kit, wine, hot tea, and a gift for each woman who attends. Purchase tickets in advance at shoptamedwild.com.
