Let your body be a human canvas of color, get some exercise in, and raise some money for a good cause all in one go on April 8.
Sign-ups are happening for the SLO Color Blast Fun Run, taking place at SLO High next month. Participants will be given a T-shirt and blasted with color bombs made from food coloring and cornstarch while walking or running the 5K course. The cost is $40 to register.
Proceeds from the fun run help raise money for the Black & Gold Fund and the Alex Maier Memorial Fund for scholarships for graduating high school seniors entering college. Check-in starts at 8 a.m. and the run kicks of at 10 a.m. Visit slocolorblast.com to sign up.
