Cambria isn’t just ground zero for wacky scarecrows this fall. There’s a brand new art gallery—L’Heure Bleue Galerie—opening up shop at 4210 Bridge St. in the quaint, art-fueled downtown.
A grand opening celebration kicks off on Oct. 10 with a morning painting demonstration by gallery artist Elizabeth Jackson at the Harmony Café at Pewter Plough Playhouse in Cambria’s West Village from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. From 5 to 7 p.m. stop by the gallery, meet artists, sip wine, and check out tunes by Mary Schwalbe and Ron Perry. According to owner Lisa Harpel, the vision was to create “a small works gallery which would feature paintings generally under 16 by 20 inches.”
Why? Well, for one, smaller works are easier for buyers to take with them when they travel! Take a peek at these small wonders and see if you need to stuff one in your pocket and take it home!
