For nearly 40 years, the San Francisco International Comedy Competition has showcased some of the world’s most popular comedians. Robin Williams (miss you, man!), Patton Oswalt, Louis C.K., and Ellen Degeneres have all participated and placed in this prestigious contest. You can check out highlights from the 2014 competition at the Clark Center in Arroyo Grande on March 21.
Winner Kabir “Kabeezy” Singh will headline alongside Bay Area comic Matt Gubser as host, Lars Callieou from Canada, and Clara Bijl from France. Singh has previously been featured on Comedy Central’s Gabriel Iglesias’ Stand-Up Revolution, and Callieou has toured with USO three times. Also, his name is Lars. Exotic!
You can see these four chuckleheads at the Clark Center on March 21 at 8 p.m. Tickets range $30 to $42. The Clark Center is located at 487 Fair Oaks Avenue in Arroyo Grande. For more info, visit clarkcenter.org.
